As part of our "Built for Builders" program, we can reduce your installation cost by shipping our SFR sensor with Cat-5 (UV rated) cable long enough to reach from the controller in the garage to the SFR sensor on the roof. Solar and Rain Sensors are mounted on standard condulet for easy handling by contractors. The Solar Sensor is protected by white glass fused into steel plated by black nickel. The threads of the black nickel are coated with LOCTITE.

We suggest that you plan on mounting our WS8C or WS12C controller on the outside of the home so that landscape maintenance personnel have access to the sprinkler timer without bothering the homeowner to get inside the garage.
